You will receive and interpret client and agency briefs. Develop detailed creative responses. Creatively edit teasers, trailers, TV spots, creative content, and social AV, across multiple genres, to brief, and to an industry-beating standard.

To be considered for this role you will need to be fluent in French and English.

This role can be located in Amsterdam, London or Paris.

KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES​
  • Working at Intermission to edit and produce creative video campaigns across a variety of projects.
  • Working with AVID and Adobe Premiere to deliver finished projects.
  • Working to briefs provided by clients, while bringing a fresh creative perspective and approach.
  • Working across trailers, teasers, cutdowns, social AV, TV spots and sizzle reels.
  • Working to industry standard in both creative approach and technical skill.
  • Liaising with the Production team to update on ongoing projects.
  • Collaborating with members across the wider Intermission team to deliver projects to the highest possible standard.
  • Using Adobe After Effects to create creative captions for social AV and WIP graphics for the Motion Design department to develop further.
  • Actioning client amends.
  • Attending project kick-off meetings and client meetings when necessary.
  • Liaising with the Technical team to assist with the smooth operation of our workflow.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS​
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite. Premiere Pro is a must, with a working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop.
  • Experience with AVID.
  • 2-3 years editing experience across teasers, trailers, TV spots, creative content, and social AV.
  • Material and media management knowledge.
  • Knowledge of finishing, frame rates and aspect ratios.
  • A solid understanding of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, audio configuration, frame rates and camera rushes.
  • The desire and ability to pass knowledge on.
  • “Can do” attitude when problems arise and knowing when to ask for help.
  • An upbeat communicator, team player and prompt responder.
  • Self-motivation, excellent time management and the discipline to cope with fast turnarounds and hard deadlines.
