IT and Systems Engineer

We are an award-winning creative agency that specialises in audio-visual and design for the entertainment industry. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced media and broadcast  I.T. Engineer to join us at Intermission Film London on a permanent basis.

The role of IT and Systems Engineer is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step in their career and take on more responsibility and autonomy. 

  • A good mindset for troubleshooting and getting to the bottom of unforeseen issues
  • Main point of contact for staff for all day to day I.T Requirements
  • Build constructive relationships with our in house engineering team, operations and 3rd party support companies
  • Conduct and maintain inventories of recognise and make recommendations for future improvements and upgrades
  • Undertake weekly/monthly health checks and provide reports / recommendations
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to convey information in a clear way
  • Team player who can coordinate multiple projects at once
  • Understands the importance of consistent support and seeing a task through
  • Proactive with the ability to notice issues before they arise and address them
  • Discreet and tactful with an understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality, security and data protection good practice
  • Willingness to make informed decisions and think outside the box
  • Understanding and ability to support different time zones due to multiple office locations. Evening and weekend work will be required where necessary. 
  • Fantastic time management and organisational skills 
  • The ability to work proactively, independently, and reliably under tight timeframes
  • Passionate about film and working within a creative environment and an understanding of the nuances that brings to your role

  • 3+ years of practical experience within an IT/ Engineering/ Broadcast and Media support role
